This is a free version of VersaCheck which does not have all of the features of VersaCheck Gold, however for our needs, Presto fits the bill. We are printing Check 21 Compliant Business Checks this software works great with Quicken and it suits our needs. I just needed the update! This was advertised as free but you have to purchase paper to get a code to use it. The software I have was for an old Windows OS. I own check blanks from Versacheck that I had bought several years ago and hadn't used.
This is NOT a free check printing software. I printed 30 pages of them so I don't have to do it again ant time soon! I had a code from the purchase of check paper. When running it tries repeatedly to get me to validate. I can use the checks to print from Quick Books. I've used previous versions for many years. It did print my blank checks, 30 pages of them. In the end its more then buying checks at a bank or from a company that prints them for you So Toner, check paper, a charge to print checks, and a reoccurring charge to validate bank accounts. I never even opened the original box that was sent to me and of about dollars spent I only got 73 back.
